“TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!”
I sat down and agonised over this ‘About Me’ section. A good few hours were spent looking at a blank page, and when I finally squeezed out a few lines, I had to scrap them as nothing felt right. I just couldn’t seem to get that all-important message across.
Perhaps I could have told you about the fascinating people I have coached in my time, and how their personal wins have undoubtedly shaped my life too.
Or I could have told you how my years in management have prepared me to offer support and guidance to anyone looking to reach their full potential.
I could have said, how investing in your personal growth with me is something that you will never regret.
Although these were all valid points, they didn’t actually feel like the most important thing you needed to know about me; then it became clear, it’s not about me, it’s about the both of us.
So here it is…
The most important thing about me is that I want you to have the best feelings about yourself at the end of our time together. Whatever form that takes; more confidence, a new-found assertiveness or treating yourself with the respect and kindness you deserve.
It’s a great feeling to see the light go on in someone’s eyes when things click into place during a session, it’s very addictive; ever since I became part of that process I was hooked.
But in the spirit of the traditional ‘About Me’ page, here are some additional things you may or may not need to know…
When I was growing up, my little sister had a much cooler taste in music than I did; although I would like to think I have finally caught up.
I do believe that a healthy body contributes to a healthy mind, but a great glass of wine is a great glass of wine…. everything in moderation.
A favourite film, I don’t have one per se, there are way too many that I truly love, but there is a lot to be said for Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear’s great line…
